Ex-Twitter Brand Strategist Peter Garber’s comethru Builds Momentum and Aims to Disrupt Ticketing Industry Across Beauty, Culture, Festivals, and Nightlife with No-Fee Ticketing

The former Twitter brand strategist and Clearstep Health co-founder is turning live experiences into lasting customer relationships, with work spanning Sol de Janeiro, NIOD × Steve Aoki, The Honey Pot Company and New York Swim Week.

NEW YORK, NY, September 22, 2026: comethru, the ticketing and event marketing platform founded by Peter Garber, is building momentum through brand activations in New York and Los Angeles, an expansion into Texas nightlife, and technology that connects registration, ticketing, guest operations and audience engagement.

Its growing portfolio includes work for Sol de Janeiro with Sweeter; NIOD with Autumn Communications, featuring Steve Aoki and celebrating the brand’s Sephora launch; The Honey Pot Company with Small Girls PR at Othership; New York Swim Week; and Innerloop Collective’s guest list operations at ART CLUB in Houston.

For Garber, the opportunity brings together a career spent working across advertising, entrepreneurship, product design and experiential marketing: help the people creating memorable experiences build a more valuable business around them.

“Brands put enormous creativity, energy and money into bringing people together,” said Garber, founder and CEO of comethru. “We built comethru to help that investment keep working. Every registration, every arrival and every follow-up can strengthen the relationship between a brand and its audience.”

Sol de Janeiro: More than 2,000 attendees across two New York activations

Working with experiential agency Sweeter, comethru supported Sol de Janeiro’s “Sol Summer” pop-ups in SoHo and Williamsburg.

The platform provided custom branded registration and Apple and Google Wallet passes, allowing guests to register before arriving or while waiting in line. The experience combined guest data collection, SMS marketing opt-ins and live Wallet notifications to keep attendees connected throughout the activation and afterward.

The company’s case study reports more than 2,000 attendees across the two events, a 92% SMS marketing opt-in rate and an average of 157 guest check-ins per hour.

For a brand taking its experience directly into the streets of New York, comethru connected the energy of the pop-up with an audience the brand could continue reaching. The collaboration is featured in comethru’s Sol Summer recap.

NIOD × Steve Aoki: Bringing a high-demand Los Angeles activation to life

For NIOD’s cold-plunge activation at The Grove in Los Angeles, comethru worked with Autumn Communications to support an experience featuring brand ambassador Steve Aoki and celebrating NIOD’s launch at Sephora.

comethru built the custom registration experience at niodpoweredplunge.com, issued branded Apple and Google Wallet passes, and supported registration across eight cold-plunge sessions. On-site teams could manage waitlists live and admit walk-up guests to fill available spaces.

The case study reports 100% capacity reached, 87 guest check-ins and 267 people waitlisted. Registration captured guest names, email addresses, phone numbers and session selections, giving the team the information needed to coordinate attendance.

The NIOD × Sephora × Steve Aoki recap demonstrates comethru’s role at the intersection of beauty, entertainment and live guest operations.

The Honey Pot Company: Turning event demand into an ongoing audience

For The Honey Pot Company’s “Keep Your Cool” experience at Othership in Manhattan, comethru worked with Small Girls PR to deliver custom-domain registration, branded Wallet passes and marketing consent capture.

The registration and pass experience went live in 48 hours. The company’s case study reports 100% capacity reached, an 85% SMS marketing opt-in rate and more than 315 waitlist registrations.

That gave the brand a way to stay connected with both attendees and interested consumers who could not secure a place. The event is featured in comethru’s Honey Pot and Othership recap.

From fashion experiences to Texas nightlife

comethru’s event work also includes New York Swim Week’s “Sub-Zero Couture” pop-up, documented in its public event recap.

The company has since expanded into Texas, where Innerloop Collective began using comethru for guest list operations at ART CLUB in Houston. The relationship was brought in by Shawn Kent, Senior Vice President of Ticketing, extending the platform’s reach into nightlife.

Together, these engagements show comethru supporting different operating needs: street-level beauty activations, scheduled experiential sessions, intimate wellness events, fashion gatherings and nightclub guest lists.

A founder who connects brand strategy with product execution

Garber’s background gives that expansion a clear through line.

He began his career in Twitter’s Brand Strategy team, later moving into its Large Client Solutions organization. During his four years at Twitter, he managed a $20 million technology and telecommunications account and collaborated on campaigns for Verizon.

He went on to co-found Clearstep Health, serving as chief marketing officer and head of design, before becoming a senior product designer at Forma, where he designed the member experience for a benefits platform serving employees at companies including Microsoft, Stripe and Uber. His later work at Intersection brought him into out-of-home advertising and experiential activations.

With comethru, Garber combines the commercial perspective of an advertising strategist, the execution experience of a repeat founder and the attention to detail of a product designer.

“I’ve worked on the campaign, the product and the experience people actually have,” Garber said. “comethru brings those perspectives together. We want an event to look incredible, run smoothly and create a relationship that becomes more valuable over time.”

Building the business around the organizer

comethru connects branded event pages, paid ticketing, Apple and Google Wallet passes, guest lists, capacity management, waitlists, email, SMS and audience reporting. Its No-Fee Ticketing model eliminates comethru’s per-ticket platform fee, using annual platform or event-based pricing instead. Payment processing charges may still apply. The company has also introduced thrukit, an API for issuing branded Wallet passes from other applications, and developed sponsorship opportunities through branded pass placements.

Its broader partnerships include Shared Audiences, supporting audience retargeting, and participation in Brex’s Partner Perks program, announced with a 25% discount on comethru’s self-service and white-glove service plans for eligible Brex customers. comethru operates under The Garber Company, alongside creative studio Studio G. Garber announced more than $250,000 in first-year revenue across the parent business, achieved without outside funding.

Working alongside Chief Operating Officer Laura Wagner, Head of Partnerships David Ioffe and SVP of Ticketing, Shawn Kent, Garber is building a business that pairs proprietary technology with hands-on experience serving brands and event teams.

comethru is available on desktop and mobile web, with native applications for macOS, iPadOS and iOS in development.
